The Riviera is a Palisades neighborhood located approximately two miles east of The Palisades Village and features The Riviera Country Club, an ultra exclusive country club, and streets named after various locations in the French and Italian Riviera.
The neighborhood is divided into north and south sections by Sunset Boulevard. It borders Santa Monica and Brentwood.
A favorite among Hollywood royals, The Riviera is a select community in which it offers large acreage in properties, privacy and views. Some notable current and previous residents include: Steven Spielberg, Adam Levine, Ben Affleck, Sugar Ray Leonard, Kate Hudson, Diane Keaton, Tom Hanks, Goldie Hawn and others.
The Riviera Country Club hosts the Genesis Open on the PGA Tour in February and has hosted three major championships: the U.S. Open in 1948 and the PGA Championship in 1983 and 1995. The country club will also host golf during the 2028 Summer Olympics.
